Privacy Policy

Effective: April 17, 2026

Your privacy matters. Blood Levels is designed as a privacy-first, local-by-default medication tracker. This policy describes what data the app handles and what it does — and, just as importantly, what it does not do.

1. What We Collect

We (the developer) do not collect, receive, or have access to any of your personal or health information. All data you enter into Blood Levels stays on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account.

Data you enter includes:

2. Where Your Data Lives

3. No Third-Party Analytics, Tracking, or Advertising

Blood Levels contains:

We do not sell, rent, share, or transmit your data to anyone. Ever.

4. Apple Services

If you enable iCloud Sync or HealthKit integration, data is handled by Apple under their own Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We have no control over and no visibility into Apple's systems.

5. In-App Purchases

Blood Levels Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment information, Apple ID, billing address, or other identifying purchase details — only an anonymous entitlement flag indicating whether your Apple ID owns the product.

6. Data You Choose to Share

Any CSV, JSON, or PDF exports you create are generated on your device and shared only via system sheets (Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, etc.) under your direct control. Once you share an export outside the app, its handling becomes the responsibility of the recipient or service you share it with.

7. Support Correspondence

If you email us for support, your email address and the contents of your message will be visible to the developer via standard email. Do not include sensitive medical information unless necessary for support. Correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

8. Your Control

You can, at any time:

9. Security

Your data is protected by your device's hardware encryption and passcode/biometric security, and — if synced — by Apple's iCloud encryption. We strongly recommend using a device passcode. The developer cannot recover data that is lost due to device loss, iCloud account issues, or user deletion.

10. Children

Blood Levels is not directed at children under 13. Parents who permit use by older minors do so at their discretion and are responsible for supervising data entered.

11. Not a Medical Device; Not HIPAA-Covered

Blood Levels is a consumer informational tool. It is not a medical device. The developer is not a Covered Entity or Business Associate under HIPAA, and the app is not designed for clinical or regulated medical use. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical decisions. See the in-app Medical Disclaimer for details.

12. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to medical outcomes, data loss, or decisions made based on the app's calculations.

13. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will appear on this page and in the app. The "Effective" date above reflects the current version.
